Good Flyte was founded by Nick and Matt – lifelong friends, frequent flyers, and firm believers that air travel shouldn’t leave you feeling drained when you land.

We first met in 2010 while working at a fast-paced tech start-up in Cambridge, UK. The role had us travelling constantly – hopping between airports, time zones, and meetings. Between long flights and even longer days, we often talked about one day building something of our own.

Life eventually took us in different directions.

Matt moved to Australia and later San Francisco, where he founded a tech company that scaled rapidly and was acquired by a global business. Never one to sit still, he went on to build another successful venture and now advises start-ups and sits on boards across multiple industries. He’s also a dedicated ultramarathon runner, with a deep interest in performance, recovery, and the role nutrition and supplements play in both.

Nick remained in Europe, spending his career working in and around the aviation industry while continuing to travel extensively for work and life. Over time, he became increasingly aware of how physically demanding flying can be particularly when it comes to hydration, fatigue, and mental clarity, especially on longer journeys.

Despite our different paths, we stayed close. Many of our catch-ups happened on long runs, where conversations naturally drifted toward energy levels, performance, and supplements. One day, those conversations turned to flying – and how it so often leaves you feeling flat, foggy, and generally off. We talked about using supplements while travelling, but found that most options were designed for athletes, not for the unique demands of air travel.

That idea stuck with us – and it sparked something bigger.

We began researching what flying actually does to the body. We spoke with travel health experts, specialists in renal function, physiology, and aerospace health, and with people across the aviation industry – including cabin crew and flight deck crew working on short- and long-haul operations – to understand what’s really happening at 35,000 feet. Aircraft cabin air is drier than the Sahara Desert. Cabin pressure drops. Blood volume shifts. Fluid loss increases significantly. Yet most hydration and vitamin products – particularly those designed for sport – aren’t formulated for this environment, and in some cases can even work against you.

So we decided to create something better.

Informed by travel health experts, researchers, and nutritionists, and by real-world insight from across the industry, we developed Good Flyte – a specialised hydration and vitamin formula designed specifically for air travel. It’s science-led, tailored to the realities of flying, and supported by our hydration calculator to help you understand what your body needs before, during, and after a flight.

Whether you’re a frequent business traveller, part of a flight crew, or heading off on holiday, Good Flyte helps you stay hydrated, feel clear-headed, and arrive ready for whatever comes next.

It’s the product we wish we’d had all those years ago.

Now it’s here – and we’re proud to share it with you.
